Dr. Rawat did his graduation (MBBS) from RNT medical college Udaipur(Raj.) and completed his mastery of surgery (M.S.) from Sardar Patel Medical College Bikaner(Raj.). He did his DNB(eq. Mch) Superspeciality training in Surgical Gastroenerology and Liver Transplant from prestigious Sir Ganga Ram Hospital New Delhi. During which he was trained in complex Gastro-intestinal, hepatobiliary, pancreatic and advanced laparoscopic surgery. He also participated in Liver transplant program at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and he participated actively in more than 100 Liver transplants.

He worked as junior consultant at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital New Delhi for around 2 years where advanced laparoscopic procedures were performed regularly for Gl, colorectal, hepatobiliary and pancreatic disease and out of them more than half were for cancers of the respective system and also he was part of Liver transplant team at the centre.

He also underwent fellowship training in upper and lower gi endoscopy from World Laparoscopy Hospital, Gurugram.

Currently Dr. Rawat is working as Consultant GI-HPB surgeon, Advanced laparoscopic and Gl cancer surgeon in Kota Heart Institute and Research Centre Kota Rajasthan since January 2021
